How old is god: the eternal being
We as seekers, often ask this mysterious question that how old is god? In fact, many of us even get questions like how vast is creation, the universe, and who created all this? This is natural; because as intelligent species, we are curious know the basis of life. As seekers, we want to gain more and more knowledge, and know more about our creation, and our creator. In this article, we are going to answer this question using various scientific and ancient texts knowledge. To get the answer to this question, we will need to understand some facts. So let us begin.
The soul factor
To find out the answer, we first need to understand ourselves as a soul. In various ancient texts, we are told that we in reality are a soul. Our bodies are just like a garment that we wear for some time, leave it, and then wear another one. The kind of garment we get, however, totally depends on the kind of karma we do. Modern science identifies the soul as, consciousness. Furthermore, there has to be something within us which experience the world through our physical senses, which in fact, is the soul, or consciousness. The soul is like energy, without which, our bodies cannot function at all. Now that we have used the term energy, let us understand the fact of energy. (Read: Who Is The Destructive God?)
Energy
Scientists across the globe have always tried to understand physical matter, and its basis. After years of studies and experiments, eventually the scientists came out with an astonishing revelation. The scientists discovered that, matter in reality doesnโt exist, but is just a form of energy. This sounds valid, because in our school, we studied that matter is made up of atoms, and atoms are nothing but energy. Henceforth, it was concluded that, there is no matter, but just energy which has taken up a physical form.
Furthermore, many traditions say that, divine is in fact energy, and our soul, also is seen as divine as per ancient texts. This is because, soul and energy is the basis of creation, and the basis of creation is nothing, but divine. Therefore, the soul operating within us, is divine himself, enjoying his creation. Now to discover the answer to the question, we need to know one last thing. (Read: Life Lessons From Lord Krishna)
The Age
What science calls energy, ancient texts call it soul, or god, and two terms, in fact are synonymous. Now, the bhagavad Gita says that soul cannot be created, nor destroyed, and science says that energy cannot be created, nor destroyed, hence what cannot be created, cannot have a beginning. In that sense, what does not have a beginning, how can it have an age? So when we ask this question that how old is god, we can say that divine is eternal, without beginning or end. Everything comes out of divine, and goes back to him, but he never comes, or goes, but is the basis of all happenings. (Read: Bhagavad Gita Tricks To Control Mind)
Conclusion

God has no beginning or end, but everything else comes out of god, and goes back to god. Therefore, when we ask this question that how old is god, the answer is: he is eternal..
